there was no    logic, therefore

no Therefore.  Not even And.

Not even Not.

You could say anything.

Where does the meaning gather?

On an
other
         side of all of this
         turned away from us
         leering back at us?

And the jaguar, studabaker, or whatever it was
that covers us
stalking us

           —there
                where meanings linger:

                         eyes of meaning's hunger

                                     to devour the things      

                                            that meanings mean.
